Vickie Mcdonald speech

Last Friday our District forty-one senator Vickie Mcdonald talked to us about some issues going on in our district and around our state some questions we asked were should they raise the minimum wage and she said yes and then she kind of said no because if you raise the minimum wage you will have to raise everyone elses salary and then the person that just started working there. Then she told us about how she has to pay for all her gas and how she doesn’t get paid as much as people think because of all the insurance and all that fun jazz. And then she talked about illegal immigrants and how Lexington and Schyler have about 80% of the mexicans that go to school there are illegal. And the Finally she told us about Gambling in Nebraska and how it could be good for the state but not for the people because they would spend a third of there pay check on gambling instead of on food or other things.

Well the citation exercise taught me some stuff that i didnt know about chickens and other things. it was a good learning oppurtunity for me about the writing excercises and i had fun doing it it was awesome.

The Nebraska Access website was ok but i couldnt find anything on a professional hunter or professional hunting guides.

And then i searched ESPN and it talks about sportscenter. and then i searched for micheal jordan and they didnt have anything for him.

The google news thing was pretty interesting.i read an article about slim buying verison wireless and thats all i got for that

The Self-Inventory Worksheet helped me alot because it helped me determine what i want to do for a speech. Some of the questions were kind of hard to answer because in our small town we cant really volunteer for anything. later days

It was kinda hard to do the self introduction speech with district speech going on and all that fun jazz but it was a good experience only thing that was hard was memorizing our scripts because with our drama the self introduction was hard trying just to memorize the lines. Im not that shy talking in front of people just depends if the people are in a good mood to laugh because im a funny guy. One thing i would do different would be to memorize my script better. Some problems we had was that we couldnt get the right lighting in the room and that people kept throwing stuff at me. Well thats all for today.

Well its SATURDAY and march madness is off to a good start because Oklahoma lost and Gonzaga won. State speech didnt go to well for us this year because noone made finals. im sitting in my room now watching the Florida vs. Universiy of Wisconsin-Mil. and Florida is up by 12. my bracket is looking well this year even though kansas lost. Its suppose to snow up to 3 inchs everyday till monday or thats what the radio said so hopefully we dont have school i already forgot how many days till Graduation even though i could go to my other blog and find out but im to lazy but i dont have anything more to write about so im going to finish my basketball game and try taking a nap so later days

Hello i know you people havent heard from me in a while so i decided to write something. We got 59 days left till Graduation!!!!!!!! im scared because i still have all this college stuff to do and im just getting to the point that im getting to lazy to do it. We had District speech last week in our school and im in the OID (Oral intrepretation of Drama) and we didnt do to well. o well i guess you cant win them all but friday our speech coach said we could goto State Speech in Kearney so its all good. We started track a couple weeks ago and i hate it because we run so much compared to the years before. My freshman year we had practice from 3:45 till 4:30 and now were not even done stretching by 4:45. I still dont know what im going to do in track. We went to boys state basketball last weekend and it rocked. thier were some really good games like Bellevue West and Omaha Central it went into overtime and Omaha Central won. Me and Bradley got on the big screen and got on tv it was awesome. well im going to work on some homework later people

Well today i woke up and took a shower and went to school. first off in the morning i had to go to techs which is a fun class we learn about computer, printers, and etc and then i made some coffee because we make it every morning then after 1st period i have to go to shop and we talked about basketball for proble half the class because the menards guy forgot to bring the right lumber. The next period we go to psychology which we talked about the brain. For lunch we had pigs-n-blankets and harvest apples it was all good. After lunch i have College Speech 111 and Im writing this awesome blog and then after this class we go bowling with Dylon (he's autistic) Well thats all i have to say today talk to you later.
